Frequently Asked Questions

Pregnancy

Q. Is it safe to exercise during pregnancy?

Yes.
Exercise is good for you and your baby. However, be sensible. Do not embark on something new whilst you are pregnant. Swimming, low impact aerobics, walking, yoga, Pilates and gentle cycling are all usually fine. Do not exhaust yourself and remember that as your pregnancy progresses you may not feel quite so energetic. Contact sports and horse riding are contra-indicated.
